Dave's Doukhobor

This is the same Rocambole Russian Red we've been growing for years; we've just renamed it because of we now sell the Marbled Purple Stripe garlic called Russian Red. We started this garlic from bulbils given to us by our Uncle Dave who said it was an old Doukhobor variety. This garlic starts off hot and ends with a lingering sweetness. It has purple striped wrappers and averages 8-11 brownish-red cloves. It's a really good keeper. Heritage garlic.

Thanks Uncle Dave.
